I spent the past weekend in NYC. I saw 2 different shows, both fabulous.
The second show we saw was The Normal Heart. A very moving, riveting and emotional play about the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in this country. All the actors were fabulous.
The reason we even saw this show was becuase of the man above.
The Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite TV shows, making me laugh multiple times a week, since I watch the episodes many times. This show got my mom and I through a very tough few weeks and for that I will always love this show.
For all Broadway shows, that I know of, you can wait outside the stage door after the show and hopefully get autographs and pictures with the stars. I warned mom before we even left that we would be waiting outside The Normal Heart stage doors just to meet Jim Parsons.
He was so nice and just what I thought he would be. He was gracious to take a picture with me. After he left, I got more emotional than I ever have around a celebrity. It was magical and one of the best moments of a not so great year.
