Here is the original list.
These are the things I've actually started on.
- Read 12 Shakespeare Plays
- Read less books, but enjoy them more
- Read 25 books on the NYT Bestsellers List (fiction or non-fiction)
- Get rid of a lot of clothes (I should probably not buy as many as well)
- Go to 2 concerts
- Go someplace I've never been
- Blog at least 3 times a week
- Scrapbook all my Disney Pictures
- Say I've watched 40 movies on the 100 Best Movies list
- Keep a gratitude Journal
The reading stuff is the easiest since I always have a book in my hands. I found an unexpected pleasure last week, Winter Garden (more to come on this book next week).
I'm also working through Shakespeare. I'm enjoying the plays, especially the one's I've read before.
I've decided that if I wear something and I don't like it then after it gets washed it's going in the giveaway pile. I've made a dent, but I still have more work to do.
The hardest thing on this list is the movies. I have about 10 movies I recorded on the DVR but I don't make time for them like I should. It's easier to sit and read a book. Maybe once the summer starts it will be easier. Aside from Baseball there isn't anything else to watch at night.
I've realized there are a couple things on the full list I won't get down this year and that' ok. I won't be going to Europe, but the plan is to go twice next year. And my blogging is still a work in progress.
The end of May is the half way point for the list so I'm hoping to have about half of it crossed off. (The nerd that I am created a Microsoft Project to track my progress)
